LATEST PROJECT
Office Installation
Our latest project is this office installation for a farm in Thriplow, Cambridgeshire.
The office was constructed on top of an existing mezzanine, constructed of metal frame studwork, insulated between the studs and finished with acoustic, sound-blocking plasterboard on both sides to provide a required barrier from the noise levels within the barn of which the office is situated.
Two additional meeting rooms were also installed inside of the office, constructed of timber studs and also finished with acoustic plasterboard to provide an opportunity for privacy in meetings.
Externally, new aluminium windows were fitted to the entire façade of the office area with the required structural alterations carried out and adjustments to existing cladding to ensure all works were secure and in keeping with the existing look of the barn.
Internal features of this office installation include a suspended ceiling, LED panel lighting, white painted, plywood flush doors with vision panels, dry-lined, plastered and painted walls, and carpet tile flooring throughout. The office is heated and cooled with air-conditioning cassettes in the main office and both meeting rooms.
As well as electrical sockets, data points were installed throughout the office on cat 6 cabling feeding back to an installed patch panel which links back to the existing site core switch.
